Cleantech Circle

A Passion for Entrepreneurship

The Cleantech Circle is a group of serial entrepreneurs and investors based in Silicon Valley who are committed to the growth and adoption of renewable energy generation and resource/energy efficiency technologies.

We provide hands-on operational expertise and seed capital to early stage companies. We have trusted relationships with:

  • leading venture capital and institutional investors for subsequent financing;
  • major companies across the value chain who could be good customers, partners or strategic investors;
  • and experts and industry insiders who could be recruited into our portfolio companies.

Cleantech Company Creation and Investment

Our current areas of interest include renewable generation (e.g. solar and wind, across the supply chain) and resource efficiency (energy usage, efficient devices, water use/remediation).

We are actively looking for entrepreneurs who want to change the world through scalable market-driven businesses and are looking for an experienced partner team to help them get there.

Early stage cleantech companies face multiple market, technology, execution and funding challenges.

Institutional investors do not have the bandwidth to individually address the specific, operational needs of early stage cleantech companies.

An experienced group of entrepreneur-investors is needed to identify promising early stage companies, build upon their strengths, and correct their shortcomings in a ‘hands-on’ approach.
